This page is an educational example of a phishing site to help users understand how easy it is have your passwords stolen. No passwords are actually stolen or even captured.

In a real email phishing attempt you would not see the url http://www.bikehash.com/example but possibly http://www.usbank.us. Suppose your bank is actually 'US Bank' then this would look quite legitimate. They can easily make it look legitimate by using the US Bank's images. However, your bank site is really usbank.com and not usbank.us. This is the trick and how they may fool you. With you entering your login/password on the incorrect site, a hacker can easily steal your login/password. Once again, this page will not even capture anything you type in, but a real phishing site can and will capture your login/password to your bank.

So what should you do? Open a new tab in your browser and type in your bank site directly and then login. Never let an email take you directly to a login and proceed to login. Close that tab and open a new tab in your browser and type in your bank site directly and then login.
